Update: With the new feed, this post took only a minute to reach my feed reader. w00t!

At roughly 9:30AM EST this morning I posted this quote from Melissa Worden. 7 hours later it finally arrived in my Google Reader queue to be viewed.

Thanks but no thanks FeedBurner.

I have been suffering massive delays in post circulation for weeks now. The final straw has been dealt.

As of this post, I am reverting back to my direct site feed and have pointed the old FeedBurner URL to it.

If it’s not too much trouble please subscribe to my new feed address: Shiny New Feed

I switched Reality Me and Domestic Psychology to using feedburner. So far I can’t see any benefit to it.

Doug, same here. With a stat program running on the backend of my WordPress install, I can still see what part of the site people are clicking back to via the RSS feed.

In the case of this, my personal blog, I have no use for subscriber stats either.
